No time to waste
I know it is commonplace. But I can't help it. The combination of a birthday with the death of an acquaintance make me only too conscious of my own mortality. In fact, of everybody's mortality. I want to shake the whole world, and say we have no time for games now. No time for sillinesses. No time at all to waste. I want to spend all the time I can with the people I love, even if I have to put up with the bad moods of some. I can't afford to be foolish and run.
