Of tears and laughter

You've got to open the door and hold it to let comedy come in. Light and laughter take effort and time. No hard work is needed for tragedy to drop by. You can simply sit still, turn off the lights and wait in the dark that it will come in without knocking, it will come showing its ugly head, as sure as night comes after day. Tragedy is everywhere. Comedy needs intention. Comedy needs invention.

It's funny how we have to work to make a smile, but don't really have to do anything to make a frown.

It's been a while Madam, how are you? Been eating alright and all that? :)
