Routine

My day has been terminally normal, which probably translates as incredibly dull. I am not complaining about that. An endless string of extraordinary moments would certainly become in the end also a bit dull. Miracles can happen, but not all the time. It takes some routine to make them worth their name. I woke up, fed the cat, went to my pilates class. All of them simple actions, actions of every day. I visited the doctor, ran to work, dove head first in the fascinating world of fine food and restaurants. More simple actions, actions of every day. It is all so simple and concrete like a piece of wood or a brick. I have been fully inserted in a world that disregards adjectives and adverbs as tasteless and useless, and for now it is okay.
