Me and my shadow
She's been following me all around since I was a teen. She is the first to greet me in the morning and the one who put me to sleep at night. When the sun shines bright, sometimes I think that she is going to leave me for good, and I rejoice. I can't see her in the brightness of midday and I convince myself that she is gone, she is gone. But in the dull days, she sits at my desk, types my keyboard with her greasy fingers, tries to lavish me with thoughts I didn't ask to have. Most of the times, she laughs at me like a naughty girl. Most of the times, I don't really care. I just thought sorrow had come for a visit, but now she is here to stay.
