Far gone

I am so far gone, no ship, no spacecraft will take me home. I rotate slowly around the planet, I discover new constellations. I wish I could boldly go where no man has ever been before, but I am Laika, a prisoner of the Sputinik, beyond any help. I am so far gone. No protective shield, no phaser, no stick, no stone. I am a character in a story about a future that never will be, an anachronism, a historical impossibility. An artificial satellite travelling around a sun as bright as a lava lamp. I am so far gone.

if you're heading for the milky way, trun a bit right... then you'll find my cosmic abyss... which is a place with wonders... despite being so hollow like the dark hole... it holds more glory that you'll ever know...
